Much history has been lost forever because nobody has taken the time and effort to document it. Often I have a question I would like to ask my father, mother, grandmother, or someone I knew as a child, but they are gone and the answers to my questions are gone forever. My mother wrote a book about how things were when she was a child and I found that fascinating and valuable.
I made this website in order to write stories about things I remember from the past. I thought I had better do this before my memory becomes even dimmer and my mind more warped than it already is.
I plan to post these stories if and when they pop into my memory.
Some of the names have been changed to protect the guilty.
I hope this site will provide some feeling for the way things were as I saw them from 1933 to the present (2020).
